Chain Conveyors for Efficient Material Transport
The chain conveyors are guided by a pair of roller chains, which are interconnected by cross profiles. The chains are guided separately along the sides of the conveyor. In chain conveyors, we most often attach a rubber belt to the cross profiles, on which the material is transported.
In addition to these models, there are also chain conveyors without a belt, where the material is transported by rakes in a steel trough - either in the upper or lower branch. Another variant is lamella conveyors, in which the material is transported by lamellas that are attached directly to the side chains.
Chain conveyors are often manufactured in an angled design in the shape of an "L" or "Z". The lower horizontal part is usually recessed below floor level. This makes it easier to load and manipulate the material. These conveyors are characterized by a high load capacity, which can reach up to 700 kg per 1 meter of conveyor belt.

Chain Belt Conveyors DPR
We recommend the DPR series chain belt conveyors for transporting piece and very heavy material. These conveyors have a self-supporting structure, the belt guide sections are straight or angled according to the needs of transport and installation.
To fill the hoppers of automatic horizontal presses, the discharge part of the conveyor is often bent to a zero or negative angle. This solution allows for better dosing of bulky or large waste into the press hopper - the solution is known as the "swan neck".
A trip to the coast
When the rare opportunity arose to assemble our DPR chain conveyor in Cognac, France, we gave our assembly workers a trip to the coast. Although it would have been better to assemble in the summer months, we believe they will still have a nice memory.
