
Shredders for Efficient Waste Processing
Double-Shaft Shredders cut and shred material using segments mounted on slowly rotating counter-rotating shafts. The output consists of strips or pieces of waste, with size depending on the characteristics of the input material and the segment width.
The shredders are powered by one or two electric motors, or optionally by hydraulic motors. They are suitable for shredding plastics, cardboard, wood, laminates, tyres, and other types of waste.
They are often used as the first machine in waste processing lines, pre-shredding material before further shredding or milling.
When needed, they can be equipped with a hydraulic pusher to efficiently feed bulky waste between the shredding segments.
Double-Shaft Shredders DRE and DRM
The smallest units are slow-speed shredders of the DRE and DRM series, designed for shredding paper, cardboard, wood, polystyrene, and packaging. The materials must be mechanically easy to process to ensure effective shredding.
Hourly capacity of these machines is approximately 150–300 kg/h, depending on continuous feeding and the constant rotation of the shredder shafts.


Double-Shaft Shredders DRN and DRK
The mid-range slow-speed shredders with a single drive are suitable for shredding paper, wood, and plastics. For non-sticky, brittle, and easily shreddable materials, a screen can be placed under the working chamber to achieve a smaller and more homogeneous output fraction.
The screen hole size significantly influences the output fraction capacity. Hourly throughput ranges from approximately 500–1,500 kg/h.
Double-Shaft Shredders DRT
The most powerful single-drive double-shaft shredders are designed for industrial pre-shredding of oil filters, tyres, paper, and rags.
The robustness and reliability of this series make it the best-selling double-shaft shredder. Hourly capacity ranges from approximately 1,500–2,500 kg/h.

Double-Shaft Shredders DRD
Slow-speed shredders with two drives, designed for pre-shredding large, bulky, and tough materials with higher hourly capacity.
Most models are equipped with a hydraulic pusher. Hourly throughput ranges from approximately 3,000–5,000 kg/h.


Double-Shaft Shredders DRW and DRU
The largest double-shaft shredders with dual drives per shaft are intended for oversized waste materials. The DRU series is the largest stationary shredder in the Czech Republic.
Throughput ranges from 5,000 to 10,000 kg/h and beyond. The hydraulic pusher ensures efficient feeding of bulky waste into the working chamber.
